It's a Chain Thing!

Almost all of my earrings will have some chain (mostly wrapped around beads) on them.  It's a very fiddly job but the end result makes it worthwhile.  Here are some I made this week.

Polymer leaves by Helen Backhouse and lampwork beads by Maryse Fritzsch-Thillens, wrapped with brass chain.

Polymer leaves (by Helen Backhouse) and Czech glass wrapped with silver plated brass and raw brass ball chain.

These are destined for my next online show in the Artist Spotlight fb group on 27th of Feb.  See you again in a few weeks time.  <3

  1. Well now, you always do something totally different with Helen's leaves - these are all beautiful x

  2. What beautiful earrings, Suhana! I love the way you use chain in your earrings, and it was very enlightening (and fun) to see these four pairs and the different types of chains that you used, all so different to create disparate effects. Love it! I'm one who works in a "fiddly" style most of the time, too, so I appreciate the detailed work it must take. :) <3 xoxo

  5. Chain fringe is definitely your signature - love how you perfected the messy chain wrap that flows naturally into the fringe. Lovely pairs!
